TAHF/ESOMA PARTNERSHIP
ESOMA HERBAL RESEARCH CENTRE, ABUJA
Esoma Herbal Research Centre, Abuja was established in January 2000 by Mr. Solomon Balosibina. Esoma, which means “I AM WELL” in Ogori language, has the aim of giving humanity a relief through the use of herbs.
The main aim is to give available herbal products invented by Esoma, with a scientific backing, bearing in mind that most drug or herbal remedy are plant-derived, and that a large proportion of the populace still use herbal products.
Unlike what obtained with most herbalists, Esoma has so far allowed renowned researchers to carry out necessary work on her products. Through partnership with TAHF Research, works have been carried out with the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development, IDU, and the Faculty of Pharmacy Natural Medicine Laboratories of the University of Lagos.
Some works developed by Esoma are:
- SOLAMIN ® - a herbal extract for support therapy in Sickle Cell Anaemia. SOLAMIN ® is currently on the second stage trial and by the Grace of God, will soon be celebrated based on the outcome of the National clinical trial.
- Other research works are in the pipelone
